Zyagen offer frozen coronal sections of 14 regions/areas of mouse brain (as illustrated below). Brains are snapped frozen in OCT, sectioned coronal in orientation at a thickness of 7-10 microns, and sections mounted on positively charged slides. Each slide contains 2 sections. Frozen sections are shipped in tightly closed slide boxes or slide mailers on dry ice. Brain frozen coronal sections of mice perifused with 10% neutral buffered formalin or 4% paraformeldehyde are also available upon request. Sections are made under RNase- and protease-free conditions and are ideal for immunohistochemistry and in situ hybridization.
